April Hartt has never had an easy life. After a questionable hunting accident, April is left an orphan at only age three. She spends two years bouncing around from foster home to foster home until she was finally adopted by a nice married couple. Things begin to look up for April when they move to a city called Blue Moon valley, it's hidden amongst the trees and surrounded by mountains. Starting her first year of school she meets the triplets, Keith, Kyler and Kieran. They were bestfriends all throughout elementary school, they were the only people who wouldn't judge her by the thing she hated most about herself. Things take a turn for the worst when the trips move away the summer before their first year in high school. Knowing her friends were no longer there to protect her, she prepared herself for the horrors of high school. April instantly became a major target for bulling, both verbal and physical. After three months of torture, one of her daily beatings goes haywire putting her in a coma for five months. Her parents decide to move away. A year later, April returns to Blue Moon Valley to uncover the town's darkest secrets and to seek out revenge.
