What happens when innocence meets evil?

Alex has been abused by her alcoholic father ever since her younger brother Adrian died a year ago, in the summer of 2020. Her parents split, and she hasn't seen her mother since the night she left her with her father. In present day, exactly one year later, Alex gets pushed over the edge by an exceedingly harsh beating. Something new that she never expected forms inside of her.

Meanwhile, a government facility masquerading as a mental asylum engineers nanotechnology capable of entering a person's mind and killing their consciousness. This allows the technology to access the memories and previous thoughts with ease, and even control the body itself. However, the head of the operation, Professor John Calvert, may have sinister ulterior motives unknown to the world.
