John Laurens seems to find himself fascinated in his new art school, invested with his new friends. (Hamilton College/Band AU) (TRIGGERS: weed, sex toy mention, swearing (I'll add more if I need to) Alexander Hamilton- 19 year old, socially awkward, traumatised orphan from the Caribbean. He's dream finally came true- he got a scholarship to King's College and he's not gonna throw away his shot! John Laurens- 20 years old, has a rich abusive and controlling dad, is a member of a band called The Revolutionary Crew and got into the same college as Alex. These two are polar opposites- Alex is a workaholic, John thinks learning is boring, John is a social butterfly, Alex has no friends at all, etc., but both of them share a love for music (that Alex tries to deny). What happens when Alex becomes one of the band members in John's band by accident? Can these two learn something from one another?
