I'm running into a forest, to my left is Blake, my closest friend. This whole thing is actually his plan. He's somewhat of a control freak but won't argue with me if I want to do something, well, unorthodox. My name is Jace, and this is how we got away.To my right is my long lost "friend" scarlet. We were rivals when we first met in our military training facility. (By the way, if your wondering, all children after a certain age are put into some sort of military school. In middle school, based on your physical or mental attributes, you are inserted into certain classes. I was a much more physically adept kid so I was put into the "squad leader" role, where Blake is one of the best hackers I know)
We would train together, trying to hone our skills, for every match I won, she would win the next (she likes to say otherwise but don't listen to her) but after 8th grade she kind of just disappeared. I never thought die see her again, but here she is again.

I know your parents are strict but I truly think they just want what's best for you." She says nothing. For a moment I fear she's mad at me but then she puts her head on my shoulder and I know we're okay.Complete

So I suck at descriptions but here we go: My name is Lola Jansen and I'm your typical 17 year old girl. I love to read, paint and mostly keeps to myself. I go to the Gifted High School because like most I am special. Here in The Mystic realm there are four kinds of people, elementalists, psychs, e-psychs and gypsies. Also outside our Kingdom lies the land of the creatures. There you will find werewolves, dragons, vampires and shifters. But they are blood thirsty beasts who kill anything that enters their land, or so we've been told. When my life is torn apart and destroyed I soon figure out who I am and there is no stopping my revenge. Our world as we know it is about to change and it's all up to me whether it changes for the better or worse. If I let the greater evil get me our world is over but I must find my strength and courage to over come all the trials I face. Because not only am I an E-Psych but I have every power my people have ever known.Complete
The Hawaiian Special Forces
This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!Complete
