Related backwards from the cold, sharp end to the bright, hopeful beginning, the story moves from the hardened numbness to the ignorant bliss and from betrayal to trust, revolving backwards through all the reasons the walls inside him crumbled. Poignant and cutting, it tells the all-too-familiar tale of teenage suicide, not as it get betters moving forward, but as it becomes happier traveling backward.
