Chicago was a city of temptation, men and women doing as they pleased without a care in the world. Though things like happiness could not be without sacrifice, to which anyone would give up to others indifference. Obstacles would have to be faced and in return to be forgotten. On the way to nirvana such things as appreciation and guilt were to be left behind in the scene to nowhere. 
In the heart of the city was nothing but what everything needed to be, though there were shady people, as in any city of sin, that were affiliated with the underworld as the exceptions.

Will anyone come out of this unscathed? Or just forgotten?All Rights Reserved

So, after a series of bad choices, Skylar is told that one more incident will result in him being kicked out of the house. He doesn't take the threat all that seriously, until Jessie-his only protection-is accepted into a college hours away and will be leaving him. That guy vouching for him is basically the only reason that Skylar's dad has put up with his least favorite son's shenanigans all these years. So, the threat starts to feel more real. Then, it happens, and the only person left for Skylar to rely on is Ashton Rivera-who he begins to realize has some serious secrets. Secrets not even Jessie knows. Secrets that become Skylar's new mission to investigate every detail of. - [!!WARNINGS!! This book will deal with serious topics such as addiction and crime.
