Amber is an average girl living in a not so average world. The world has been split into two halves, the rich and the poor. The rich people are planning an attack to wipe out all of the less wealthier people in society so they can have the world to themselves.
A announcement from the government requires the eldest child from every family to train to fight in the war. Lucky for Amber she is the eldest, and is forced to be ready. There, she comes across a certain cold hearted brutal guy, who is determined to protect her. With no weapons or machines, all the lower people can do is rely on their strength and determination to stay alive, and wait for the war.
