When Bethany was young, her parents and the rest of her family were slaughtered by McCoys. She was later found wandering in the woods screaming and crying, covered in the blood of her kin. The men that found her took pity on the poor girl and took her in, Ellison adopted her and raised her alongside the rest of the Hatfield boys around her age, (Jonse and Cap) and her new brother Cottontop. Years later, Cap proposes to Bethany. Then what? Story is better than description, just read.

Follows the mini-series: Hatfields and McCoys. Cordelia Barlowe and her kin were not ones to get involved with trouble. But being the sweetheart of William 'Cap' Hatfield puts you right in the center of it. After years of watching the feud happen, Cordelia was finally brought in when Randall McCoy's sons murdered her father, Samuel Barlowe, and ultimately caused the death of her mother, Clara Barlowe. Between Johnse Hatfield being a woman hopper and Tolbert McCoy pining after her, she doesn't know when all the madness will end. Being the Devil's Daughter-in-Law is difficult, especially when you have a warrant for your arrest and all you did was marry a Hatfield.
