Brian

Kendall Marie Barnes got her mother taken away just less than five months ago, and ever since her mother got shot, her life went down in a spiral. Kendall's dad started doing drugs and he became an alcoholic. She understands that he's became of what he is today is because he just wanted to get rid of the anger and depression he's going through. He beats her up, cusses at her, and says the most hurtful things to Kendall. But she understands. She's patient with him and soon, he'll be back to the loving and fun father he was before his wife died.

She hasn't told anyone about her loss and her abuser she calls "Father". She can't bear to lose another parent after losing one already, but when her former best friend Brian Stafford moves back in the house next to her and see's Kendall being beat up by her dad, she is told to tell him everything.

But is it worth it? Is Kendall going to take the risk of showing Brian her dark past and lose another parent?
