↳  School, dancing, and family were the only things that mattered to Abigail Gutierrez. It's the summer of 1972 for the shy 18 year-old girl is finally preparing to go to college. Through most of her life she was an honor roll student also including the fact of being a single female yearly.  
As for 22 year-old Paco Aguilar, he's the handsome leader of the "Vatos Locos" gang. All the women in the barrio want him, but he's patiently waiting for that special woman to arrive soon. 

Although being the bestest of friends,  Paco's and Abigail's worlds collide with each other and everything seems to be going better than it was for the odd pair.
