So I'm planning to rewrite this story as I am unhappy with the way it turned out. The ending was rushed, it barely fits the description of a murder mystery, and it's been poorly written with little to no explanation on some details. I will rewrite it once it has been planned out. She doesn't know why she is the only one that can see him until he reveals he is a ghost.
