Meri Santiago was sold to a rich millionaire at the age of ten by her parents to clear up a large dept. She has been beaten, scarred, and emotionally abused by this man. She cooks, clean, and shops for him. She has no one to talk to besides a black wolf she befriended when she was younger named Delgado and the guy who does her tattoos named Toby. He knows about Meri's situation and tries to help her by occasionally feeding her. Daniel Levi, son of the wealthy owner of Levi Records, is a handsome, possessive man that knows what he wants when he sees it. But he isn't a normal man. He's a werewolf and the Alpha of the Nightingale pack. He's been looking for his mate hoping he will finally find happiness with his mate. After his best friend killed his mother after he went rouge, he trusts no one besides his friends Antonio and Toby. One day, by chance, Meri and Daniel meet each other. Daniel instantly feels attracted to her and knows he has found his mate. He notices her scars and is instantly curious about her and the scars. He tries to get close to her but she doesn't let him. After that, Meri and Daniel start to see each other more often. Meri develops a strong attraction to him but she is scared that her master will punish her severely or worst, kill him. So she starts to distance herself from him. Which is very hard to do for both. He becomes protective over her especially with the most recent scars forming. So what happens when the guy Meri has to stay away from, follows her home? Will Daniel be able to save Meri or will her master kill him before he gets the chance?

Love how the story is unfolding after each chapter" Review by @simrangharge, Twirling pages (The Review book) THIS IS MY FIRST BOOK AND I HOPE YOU ALL WILL HAVE AS MUCH FUN READING IT AS I HAD WRITING IT :) THERE ARE SOME HEAVY TOPICS MENTIONED (like rape and child abuse). PLEASE COMMENT :) None of the pictures used in this book are mine.
