The Story Behind the Slipper
We all know the classic story of a girl who lost her glass slipper running away from her dreams, and racing back to her sad reality of being a peasant maid for her own step-mother and step-sisters, the only family she has left. Yes, this is a story based on none other than the character of Cinderella. However...this rendition of telling the tale is quite different. This quick-read is all written in the form of haikus; a form of poetry that is written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. In this story, you learn about the lives these characters really lived behind the scenes of the happily ever after that we all know to be. You'll discover rich amounts of character development from minor characters and learn major mic-drops about the major characters. I hope you enjoy reading and visualizing the lives of various characters and what they may have been thinking throughout this story! "SNOW, SNOW WAIT! Please, you know I love you. You feel it too, you told me!" His eyes had a pleading look to it. His hand grabbed my arm and put it on my heart. "You must feel that!" "That's where you're wrong, I don't feel the fear of it anymore, it's gone, I'm numb to it, and it's because of you and your stupid lies and fucking manipulation!" THIS IS A SLOW BURN! Context(important): Snow Potter and Harry Potter are siblings and Harry is one year older. They both have a scar and protection from their mother's love and are both famous and enemies of Voldemort. They were separated at birth to be kept more safe and harder to find from Voldemort's followers. She grew up in the USA and went to a school for witchcraft and wizardry like Hogwarts. She had a dark past there- She started school a year earlier than Harry and others because that's the system there. Snow Potter would visit Hogwarts every single year at the end of the year to get close with her brother and make friends but also to help with conflicts ( she was there to find Sirius Black, Sorcerer's Stone, etc. Btw, she went to school in the US(witchcraft) and it was slightly more advanced there so she knows more than Harry. Warning: Mentions of suicide, ptsd, torture, self harm, etc. I don't own any of the characters here except Snow Potter, Tyler, Loren, and other non canon characters other than Mattheo. We all have those weird dreams where we fight dragons, dream of a 'happily ever after'...or in my cousin Alice's case; make friends with a unicorn that literally poops edible rainbow candy. Alice and I, along with our friend Zero, help my aunt and uncle clear out their basement during spring break while they went away for their wedding anniversary. It all started when I ever so gracefully (but accidentally) tripped over a cupboard box (which in my defence, I never knew was there) with the words: 'Fragile - DO NOT TOUCH', written in black marker all over the box. While Alice and I were arguing, Zero tried to grab our attention. When he finally did, we were surprised to see him being sucked into a freakin' green swirling portal! Turns out, inside the box I tripped over had a crystal ball rolled out of it, and glowed a bright green. That was when we realised that that crystal ball, was the reason why a portal appeared and was trying to pull us in. And of course...I got separated from them, didn't I? Would you believe me if I told you we entered the world of our favourite movie when we were kids? You know...the Dreamworks movie, Shrek? The one with the fairy tale and Disney characters in? Yep, that's the one! Oh, sorry! ~Sequel to Shrek 2: Happily 'N'Ever After [Book 2]~ Uncle Connor: Now remember: No nagging, bragging, sweating, fretting, slipping, tripping, slurping, burping, twittering, or frittering allowed. When Shrek asked me to go with him to visit Worcestershire Academy and find Arthur Pendragon, the one uncle Harold mentioned before he took his final breath, you could imagine the relief I felt to finally have the opportunity to escape my lessons without someone dragging me back every time I tried to ditch them. Question is: Will I be able to break the spell before the deadline? What if Arthur is 'the one'? Will I finally get the happy ending everybody keeps teasing me about? I'm not 'Cinderella'
I'm not Cinderella I never really believed in fairy tales and love at first sight. I always looked at Cinderella as a desperate fictional creature because all logical reasons shows that: 1). You cannot meet someone for the first time and call it love at first sight (maybe infatuation might be okay). 2) You cannot run away with him the second time you meet him all because one stupid slipper fits you. Have you ever wondered why Prince Charming never divorced Cinderella because they were total strangers they didn't know themselves.
