Lights flash and glow, the screams of excitement and the rush of the adventure. The carnies amaze the crowds, showing off their abnormalities, receiving a rile from them. An amusement park, a carnival.... Fun for all.
Emma was a curious girl who was just trying to feed her curiosity and forget her family drama for once. Her father buys tickets for her birthday to the newly opened amusement park in order to try and fix his relationship with his daughter. After her first encounter with the exciting atmosphere and the sudden closing, she grows curious as to what the park is hiding. She decides that she has to get to the bottom and takes matters into her own hands by going back at night to discover the park which becomes a living nightmare housing the murderous carnies, inescapable fun houses, and unforgiving rides.

So she occupies her time drawing the one man who haunts her nightmares. But when she throws the drawing away and it's discovered, it leads to her being kidnapped by the Midnight society. It is there that Rachel tells her story of the Carnival of Doom, not realizing it was a real thing, and that it was in town causing many local kids and teenagers to disappear. It's now up to the midnight society to team up with a mysterious woman, to help put an end to the Carnival of Doom and stop Mr. Tophat from kidnapping teens and kids to add them to his carnival. Will they be able to stop Mr. Tophat, or will they too fall victim to the carnival like many others, including the mysterious woman helping them?
