Evelyn is your average seventeen year-old girl.
She lives with both of her parents, has a special group of close friends she hangs out with daily, and goes to her local highschool. She loves birds, watching the sunrise on the beach, and the color blue. Things are practically perfect in sunny Oceanside, California, for her, except for one key detail: dancing is her life.
This wouldn't be such a troubling matter if her parents didn't have her career and college already planned and set in stone for her, refusing to listen to her dream. She desperately wants to tell them about her passion, but will they ever accept it? And then, of course, there is the boy who stole her heart and crushed it during her freshman year coming back into her life with no intention of leaving. He tells her that he's deeply sorry for what he did and that he wants to start again, but is he really telling the truth?
This is the story of a young girl learning that if she wants to be free to follow her heart, she must first conquer the fear holding her back.
