Gabby has always been part of the popular group. She is pretty and everyone knows her and likes her. One day her mom asks her who the nerdy boy is and unintentionally opens Gabby's eyes up to the fact that there's more people out there than just her friends. Gabby takes advice from her mom and tries to get to know Marcel, the class nerd. This may be the best advice she's ever received. When Gabby befriends Marcel the nerdy boy, she is surprised. He may not be popular and people may not love him or even like him but Gabby notices that he brings out the best in her. She feels safe because he won't judge her which allows her to really be herself around him. While trying to get him to open up to her, she finds herself opening up to him as well. When she gets to know the real Marcel she really likes him and develops an unexpected crush on him. But does he feel the same way about her and will they ultimately end up together or not?
