Romancing the Princess

She let him go to finally make her dreams come true: becoming a princess.
He vowed to work hard so that someday he could finally make his dreams come true: to make her his once again.

Theirs had not been the love story between a man and a woman everyone expected it to be. Theirs had been the love story between a man who could only love one woman after so many years and a woman who struggles with her choices. Theirs had not been the tale you would want to tell your kids for bedtime stories. In fact theirs had been so scandalous that one might turn his back once hearing the tale or some might actually listen to the scandalous tale and comment about how scandalous theirs had been. Theirs had been epic. But sometimes even the greatest and most epic love story could only end in tragedy. Would their tale end with a happily ever after in the end of the paper or would it be a tragedy?

Their love knows no boundaries. They struggled most of the time but they also loved one another when bitterness and resentment didn't show. But nonetheless, they loved each other as fiercely as the other. In the end, would he finally be able to find his way back to her heart? And would she be able to let him have her heart again? In the end, would she be willing to sacrifice everything for their love or was her dream of being a princess destroy their love once again? By the end of it all, what weighs more; her heart? or her dream?
