James is my best friend, and my only best friend. He's the only one who cares about me, loves me, and sticks by my side day and night, the only thing is he's gay. He tells me what guys are worth liking and the ones I should ignore. He's funny and my best friend since middle school. Louise is always trying to get him in her pants. She doesn't believe he's gay, she believes he just doesn't want to date anyone. Everyone loves Louise, no one loves me. Louise is the one everyone loves. Ya she's popular, and ya she's pretty but that doesn't mean to treat me like a homeless gang member! Louise has natural blonde hair, not a single blemish, sparkling light blue eyes, perfect check bones, can eat anything she wants and never gain a pound, and has every boy in school wrapped around her finger but one, James. Me on the other hand. I have natural black hair (mom has blonde while dad has brown. No idea where my hair comes from), light brown eyes, no blemishes, okay cheek bones, and have a total of no guys (but James) who like me, let alone know me of anything but that rejected sister. To top it off I'm known as the bad girl in school. Everyone (but James) is scared of me. Now that I think of it, James something's is scared of me too. It also probably doesn't help having pale skin, as pale as a vampire.

Running from the gang
In life, we do things we regret, or that we wish we could wipe from our memory forever. At the age of 15, I didn't think I'd regret anything until I was an adult. I considered myself care free. I lived life one day at a time. Well, as much as a 15 year old can. But in life, there are also things that we can't change, that we can't forget. Circumstances change, events occur, and life as we know it is altered forever. For me, it was one night, that set in motion a series of events that I wouldn't be able to forget, even if I tried to. *************************** My life was spectacular, or cool, but I was content, and that's all that mattered. I wasn't overly popular, I wasn't the prettiest girl, and I didn't live in a mansion. I did have a great boyfriend, and amazing friends, and hell, I wasn't doing too bad in school either. But that all changed one night, as I was walking home at night. I witnessed a man murder someone he claimed was a snitch, something to do with a gang deal gone wrong. When I found my parents dead the next day in a serial killers wet dream, my naive self decided the best thing I could do, was run, giving up everything I loved. Everyone has one thing or more things, that make them special. Perfect examples, able to burp the ABC's, singing backwards or even making things float with your mind. Yeah you heard me, I can make things float with my mind, and later you'll be finding what else I can do. For the longest time, it was always me, Aunt Grace and my best friend in all the world Lucas. My parents both died when I was little and I don't remember them; so I've been living with my Aunt ever since. We have family, but they aren't exactly in our zip code and they don't exactly keep in touch. We don't either, so we are really no better then them. On the night of my 16th birthday (anyone else feel like big events happen on someone 16th birthday? No, just me?) three strangers came knocking during my birthday party and that's when the truth of who I am, who my Aunt is and who my parents were--are. Leaving my normal life behind, I step into a world that has, Werewolves, Vampires, Giants, Fairies, Witches, Warlocks and Hybrids of mixed families, waiting for me. The first day at my knew school, lets just say I blew the roof off the castle. Long story short, really fast way to make people hate you even more then they already do real fast. "Jess, would you please get his order." Lisa winked at me and pointed the guy near the door. She is my one and only bestfriend since kindergarten. "Okay." I wore my waitress apron and put my phone and car keys on the pocket. I dragged myself to the guy's table to get his order. "Good Morning, Sir. Can I take your order?" "Hey Frankie what are you doing?" I hear my best friend in the world ask me as I sit on the school steps I then I take a deep breath as I answer her. "I just don't want to go home, ya know how my mom is she has a new boyfriend." She then sits next to me as she takes my hand and intertwined our fingers together as I lay my head on her shoulder.
