Her best friend Samantha ( Sam) is always there for her and they talk and hang out on a daily bases . Her crush is Alec he is 16 and he is a pretty popular boy but more the bad boy type .Her Dad always says "Just me and you pal " but he soon tells Courtney about his girlfriend and she pretends like she is ok with it because she wants her Dad to be happy but isn't ready for a person in her life that she could get attached to . Alec and Courtney end up dating each other pretty early when they admit they both have feelings for each other but have trouble along the way with being a couple.
