The typical teenager enjoys long summer nights out with their friends, house parties. Social media is the outlet for peers adventures; its a Pandoras box of trouble waiting. However Emily isn't the typical teenager, shes obese. Her weight prevents her from leaving her room most days, the embarrassment causes her to cringe in her too tight t-shirts and sweat pants while looking at her peers facebook posts. She wishes she could have fun like her classmates but its impossible since everyone who looks at her sneers in disgust and reprimands Emily for her bad eating habits. Only Nick, Emilys best friend, knows how she feels about everything and he is the only person who has stayed loyal to her through the years of their friendships. Not once has Nick looked at Emily in a way other then pure love and amusement from her jokes. It is only Nick who can help Emily become the person she wishes to become; he is the only person who can accept her no matter what.

The fall had been a big mood ring for Oskar. Breaking the school rules he gets almost expelled from school, but it brings him and Aaron together for the first time in 2 years. Oskar kisses 2 times Aaron, but he doesn't seem to reciprocate his feelings, especially that he's hetero and has a girlfriend. Oskar finds new friends and gets popular for the first time, and everybody starts noticing him, which was one of the biggest dreams for Oskar. However, his new friends turned to be fake, allowing Oskar to get beaten to death. Even though Aaron previously seemed to not care for Oskar, he was the only one who visited Oskar in the hospital every day. After spending the whole winter in hospital, Aaron finally comes out of the hospital and rejoins his friends in school. All eyes in school will be once again turned on a 15-years old boy. Is he ready to confront his fake friends who let him be beaten in a conspiracy. Will he graduate the junior high school having so many setbacks on his head? Will he forgive Aaron eventually? Is Aaron going to reciprocate Oskar's feelings? It's all written in the stars...The last part of my trilogy "Something Like Summer"
