Elizabeth Lowell has finished school and has decided to leave the familiarity of her grandparents home in London to join up with her mother and brother who have moved around Europe since the loss of her father a few years earlier. After moving to three different places in six months she begins to regret her decision until they arrive at their latest destination in France. Elizabeths life is about to change in a way she could never have dreamed when she happens to come across an old storybook of Red Riding Hood, written by an ancestor she has more in common with than just appearances. There is also the matter of the local villages urban legend that has them all against wearing red in the forest for fear the wolf will appear to kill what he couldn't centuries before. As we all know how the famous classic fairy-tale goes of Little Red Riding Hood, this tale is slightly different. The family of Red Riding Hood play a small role and not much of them is heard of again. Especially the poor grandmother. But in this story not all is what they seem as for this fairy-tale there is so much more. One day her mother sends her to visit her sick grandmother where a big wolf stops in her path to warn her of the danger she is about to face. Can Red trust the wolf? It's only her grandmother how can she be in any danger? What is she meant to face after talking to a stranger?

He was face to face with a beast. A huge wolf with bright amber eyes looked back at him, a low growl and the boy thought he was lunch. Instead, the creature walked past him, intending to eat the contents from the basket, leaving the human laying on the floor in confusion. Charlie Sparrow lives alone with his father in a village that is pretty secluded. After his older sisters death, he was told to journey to his grandmothers small cottage in the woods to give her food. He has been doing this since a young age, he goes into the dark forest without worries. Nothing could prepare him for seeing a towering beast hover over him, its eyes looked back at him. He was sure he would be dead meat if he made even the slightest wrong move. (This isn't entirely any type of fanfiction. I only based this half of the original red riding hood, only all characters and the whole plot is what I came up with by myself. This was not inspired by anything except the original.)

The remake of little red riding hood in this version is different. The main character is 18 years old who is the type of girl that would thinking playing with daggars and her bow with arrows is more fun than talking. She has a grandma who does in fact live in the woods but her grandma is a character who would jump out of a plane and skydive. Then goes the forest/woods which is magical inchanted so that the creature are 10 times bigger than what you would find in a real forest. There is danger, cliffhangers and action pack in this very true tale of what really happed to Red riding hood. What seems to be good is bad and bad good, right is wrong and wrong is right. Come in and join Red as she goes into the woods.
