When Lucia decides to join Starfleet, she wasn't expecting to have a major task on her hands.
She is a therapist and is assigned to the USS Enterprise to go on their 5 year mission in space. The reason being, in case people start to get home sick or experience things that could mentally or emotionally scar them, she is there to help them cope.
Everything is normal, until she starts to be drawn towards the captain, James Kirk. There is something about him that she is drawn to. At times he seems quiet, reserved. Lucia studies his actions and what he does, slowly figuring him out in her head before she decides to approach him and help him fix what is broken in his mind and his heart.

The more they watch and listen, the more Spock and McCoy want to find Winona Kirk and make her just as afraid as she has made her son. There is a brief nudity scene in the last chapter. All characters involved in said scene are adults. There are some sexual terms used. However, I do not believe it is enough to change the rating to mature.Complete
