Riley was happy one day. Her mom and her living their average normal lives. Until one day her mom gets a job in a new town with new people... Again. Riley ends up discovering what true friends and love is while trying to figure out something that has put her off her whole life. There was always something off with her mother, unanswered questions or ideas that kept her wondering. It wasn't until she met her new friends that that became something she thought about everyday. 

August James is your typical bad boy with a bit of a secret. When Riley learned his secret, August and his best friend Jason learn one about Riley. Unsure if they should or shouldn't tell her, August and Jason struggle with the new profound secret that could make or break their friendship with Riley. 

August gets arrested and is shipped off to a cell for a crime his friends didn't know he committed a few years before. Will August and Jason tell Riley or will the weight of the secret crush them?
