When you fall into the terrifying world of monsters that is evidently kill or be killed, and escaping from the insanely controlling goat lady, you're quickly discovered by the skeleton brothers. Papyrus captures you and keeps you in his possession while the Royal Guards' attention is more spent on the king's health than on human captivity. Despite the constant abuse and poor treatment you receive during your imprisonment, you slowly start to see that perhaps the Terrible Papyrus has a soft side, and isn't all that terrible after all.
