Emmi was a North Carolina girl at heart.
She ended up in Georgia for college to become an doctor, but that changed when she meet a King's County Sheriff Deputy. After a couple of months Emmi changed her studies to become an EMT and remained in Georgia where she eventually ended up becoming Emilia Walsh. After two wonderful years of marriage they started drifting apart, no matter how hard she tried she was never the perfect wife in his eyes. Things only got worse after Shane's best friend and partner Rick got shot then the end of the world came and along with it she figured out what her husband was truly capable of, cheating, lying and abuse.
Then there was Daryl Dixon. A mystery to everyone in the group. But after the drift happens Emmi end up getting to know him a little better and even though it's wrong she fells for him. And even though his brother will think he's a pansy and weak he fell for her too
