Hi. I'm Raelyn. I'm 16 yrs old. I've had a shitty life. Horrible family. I even self harm. My mom had to find out the hard way. She even called the cops and sent me to an institution for about a week.
I'm not giving you no sappy lecture about why u shouldn't cut..but darlin, ur ganna be okay. I promise. You're beautiful just the way you are. People may tell u other wise...but all you need to do is tell them off. I'm tired of watching the news and seeing that more & more kids are commiting suicide.
It will get better baby, I promise. You can trust me on this one.

For years, I've been writing in silence, creating worlds, characters, and stories that lived only in the margins of my notebooks and tucked-away folders on my computer. Bonnie and her seven brothers lives changed forever, after the sudden and tragic death of Bonnies' parents, eight years ago. They had to find a way to survive and make ends meet, staying with their uncle and cousins until her oldest brother, Alexander could become their legal guardian. Bonnie has never really 'loved' herself. When she was younger, she would always pick out something about her she didn't like. There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you.
