Four years after the Second Wizarding War, Hermione Granger is a happy, single twenty-three-year-old witch who decides it's time to reconnect with her Muggle roots. She takes an indefinite leave from her position at the Ministry of Magic, hoping to escape the wizarding world for a while and spend time with her parents in Muggle London.
What no one knows is that she's really trying to mend a broken heart after learning that her best friend-and former boyfriend-Ronald Weasley is engaged to Lavender Brown.
