Frozen in Time - HP Fanfic

No one ever knew that Tom Riddle had a daughter. Although he could never fall in love, Tom Riddle did conceive a child who was never known by anyone. She had been taken away and frozen in time as a baby until the day when she could return without the threat of her father's wrath.

After he who shall not be named was destroyed, Levana's aunt released her from the curse that she was put under. No body could know who she was though, but a strange connection with the Dark Mark made her presence known to those who loyally followed the Dark Lord. Levana's mother was killed years before she was unfrozen, so the child was left in the care of her aunt Lucia. Once the Death Eaters were alerted of her existence, Lucia had to strike a deal to allow herself to keep her niece, as long as they were granted permission to train and teach her the ways of the dark arts so that when her father returned, she could stand by his side.

Lucia had a different idea though. She taught Levana light magic as well, and told her of all the horrors Voldmort had inflected.

After Harry Potter's fourth year, Voldemort was raised again, and they came for her. Just in the nick of time, Lucia sent her niece to a place where she knew she would be safe ~ Hogwarts.

Now enrolled in fifth year at Hogwarts under the name Elys Pennifold, Levana has enemies everywhere. The new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, and high inquisitor, who works for the ministry, has her eyes on the new student. Not only that, but the young witch is also sorted into the Slytherin house which is full of many more people who hate her. All except a boy with pale skin and sliver hair. Draco Malfoy. The question at hand is: Has his father, a death eater, who knew Levana well, told him about her?

Levana Riddle struggles through the year with secrets, betrayal, and heartbreak, which only get worse when she comes face to face with Lord Voldemort himself.
