Deemo Lockwood has the power of telepathy: mind reading. It seems like a cool ability, I mean, who wouldn't like to copy off the smartest kid in class during a test?
But this ability has caused him nothing but suffering from an early age. Struggling to control his powers, he tore everything he wanted down.
Now he's 16 and moving back to Apple Tree Academy. He's been kinda loathing humanity up until now.
Abandon, alone, isolated.
That's what he feels, until it all goes away when he sits next to the 'Queen bee' of the school. Popular, pretty, sweet enough to give a guy diabetes. What could this angel be thinking to change Deemo's mind. Can she make him smile again?

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. Have you ever just looked around in a room full of people and suddenly someone caught your eye. When you studied that person from afar, or up close, watching their mannerisms and personality, you just couldn't help but feel like, "He/She could be the one." (Hannah Montana reference) The person that you're meant to be with. The person God, or fate, chose for you to be your soulmate. You could literally meet them anywhere at any time in any situation, and you'd instantly feel a connection that draws you to want to learn more about them and be someone important to them. Now think about all the thousands of people who travel through an international airport in one day. Wouldn't it make sense if two complete strangers were able to meet each other in an airport and turn out to be soulmates?Complete
