Aiden and his friends Aurora, Ken, Enzo, and Victoria are what you think of when it comes to average high school sophomores. Barely popular, respectful to teachers, slightly socially active and good grades. A normal life you could say. But one day, the five best friends decide to volunteer for a government experiment when they show up to the school unexpectedly. Even though the explanations from the mysterious men don't seem valid, they carry through with the decision to try Project Element. Suddenly, with the governments painfully technological advances on the teenagers cause them to develop one elemental power and just like that, they are property of the government trained daily to hone their powers and sent on explosive and dangerous missions. But there's something the government forgot to mention: They have to abandon their everyday lives and live in a facility with the other teens who made the same choice they did. No more seeing their parents and no more sleeping in their own beds. There's also another reason the government needs these kids. And his name is Xavier.
