Em is an industrious, studious young 13-year-old girl who is caught up in a norm and punk highschool. Em's life seems pleasant, but her past fatalities come crawling back to her. The manipulation of sexual abuse from her cousin, Karen, the junkies smoking their cigs and piercing their nipples, and an old friend who's a new love for Em causes Em's world to crumble.
Will this end in a clichè lesbian love story when the punk kisses the bullied girl, Em, or will this end in devastation when secrets start to rise?
