Well, as the very old nerd she is, her life is just a giant reference to different memes and stories. This does not get better when she meets a very lovely looking boy named Draco, and he makes her question every sane part of her brain. When did she start finding calves attractive?
  
But just as he is a new feature to her life, she finds that a girl from her school has been murdered. A girl that she spoke to a few hours before her death! As Trivia tries to handle the police, irresistible Draco and her roommates, she discovers a few new things about being a vampire. It just took her a few hundred years to do so.All Rights Reserved

Before she could even adjust to that bit of news, there were news reports about teenage girls going missing and showing up days later, drained of blood. After discovering one of the bodies, Lila suddenly becomes the new target of the killer. In between dealing with the secrets and dynamics of being a werewolf, the totally not cliche grudge between the vamps and werewolves, being the potential next murder victim of a mysterious and possibly non-human killer, and a hottie with fangs that she sometimes kind of wanted to make out with and other times wanted to rip his throat out, Lila was definitely going to have a totally normal, average life in this new town.
