Burned Wings

Adilyn has been home schooled her whole life in Pella, Iowa; she enjoys music and art, quite simple right? On the outside. She is actually an angel of sorts. She is the daughter of a human woman, and an angel man. However, her father is an angel in hiding. Meaning he is on earth, with her and her mom. The reason she has been home schooled is because she hasn't had full control -or understanding- of her.. abilities. If she falls into the wrong hands -say, of a demon- she could be used to destroy not only earth, but heaven and everything else in the universe and beyond as well.

Now that she is sixteen, and she has more understanding of her abilities; she is going to ‘real school’. When she meets a teenage demon on earth named Tyler; and she falls for him. What will she do? Is he just trying to use her? What will her family think?

Tyler is quite like Adilyn. In the sense that he is also the child of a human and a supernatural. But in his case, it is definitely not an angel. He is the offspring of a human mother and a demon father. He has had more grip on his abilities than Adilyn. He has been around real people, in ‘real school’ his whole life. He has an entire understanding of his abilities. He has always been a jock. Played every sport possible. Has been quite popular, can get anything he wants. Especially girls. (The small town helps) He is a sweet person, to certain people. He puts up a front of this tough person. Putting up a wall, he has a horrible temper. He has been learning martial arts since he was old enough to walk. He is cast aside by his father, classed as a mistake. His mom is never around. Whether working, or drinking. He has a certain compassion for people like him, although he dislikes most angels.

When he falls for Adilyn, and he’s not supposed to, what will happen? Will she change the way he thinks? Will he show her the real him?
