In the year 2014, where all of the United States has been turned into a Technologically Advanced Utopia, a group of 6 kids attend a small public school; known to everyone in the Nation of the school's intention to create a machine far out of their time, they are considered the most ridiculous.
Those six kids just happen to be "randomly" selected to be the first testers of this machine whenever the time comes to test it out. As they enter this machine, it suddenly takes them into a completely different universe that plays out as a video game. The kids think it's a piece of cake, but is it really once they realise how terrifying, confusing, and heartrenching it really is?
Will these mysterious characters be able to pass the Levels and advance to new ones to win the Game, or will it be Over before they've even started?

BOOK 1 From the moment the Declaration of Independence was signed, there were people who didn't agree with it. This included a small group of politicians who called themselves Chaos. They vowed to someday take over America and start over with a utopian society where everyone would have a common goal. They slowly infiltrated the government, filling it with corrupt leaders. They planned a mass attack on the U.S. on July 2, 2076, Americas 300th birthday. On that day, they assassinated the president and began bombing in New York. Unfortunately, Chaos only had about 200 soldiers so they came up with a technology to implant a chip in the nervous system and essentially control them. So basically, each solider could make a civilian a soldier and the civilian would be forced to fight and make soldiers of their own. The whole operation snowballed and everything went according to plan. Unlike in other stories, there is no hope and the only way to survive is though the CPO (citizen protection organization), created by Benjamin Franklin. It's a system of secret subway tunnels, used to evacuate civilians to safely. Out story begins on July 2, 2076 when the first bomb drops. What do you get when you throw a dozen flying pieces of paper, a writer, a cyborg, a bookish tsundere, a steampunky clockmaker, a photographer, and a gay guy on a bicycle together? BOOM you get a story. These 6 boys happen to cross paths one rainy afternoon when one of them has their writing blown out of their hands and all across the street in front of a coffee shop. They gradually begin to learn more about one another while they wait for a bad storm to pass and experience a rather nerve-wracking event in the process. Later in the week, Ace, the cyborg hacker (and one hell of a chess player) receives an email from an old friend and learns that a virus is being spread rapidly throughout the nation that's heavily reliant on technology. The government and almost everything that's based on technology is being corrupted and there's only one facility that can put a stop to it before everything goes up in flames. The group is called upon to assist in the process since they each have their own unique abilities to put to use. No one knows if they'll be able to get rid of the virus in time or if they'll die trying. Who knew a few pieces of paper could do so much to 6 random strangers.Complete
