Wave (Book 2)
I had survived the first. That was then; this is now. The blindfold of so many pills slowly died away and first though my finger then my head, a passion, a hurt and a need filled me as every moment was consumed with words; every breath with wisps of ink. But they were not all captured and somewhere in the deep abyss of living, lies the unspoken, almost unfelt feelings of decades in months. This is the half-empty account off all those nights from December through into the new year and the end of March. ...I pains me to share it. But it also makes it just not my problem anymore and that is something I long for- freedom and peace. Please note that all grammatical and linguistic, as well as those in punctuation and spelling or placing of words were intentional. My Only Mistake
"I brought you here because I wanted to ask you something really important." He said and I smirked, knowing what he was going to ask me. "What is it?" He sighed and ran his hand through his hair again. "After last night, which was amazing, it got me thinking. What exactly are we?" The question that has been running through my mind ever since last night too. He sighed and held my hands in his,"Maddison, I like you, a lot. And I mean a lot. You're the most prettiest woman I've ever seen in my life, seriously. Both inside and outside. I want you, and only you. Shit, I'm bad at these things but, can you be my girlfriend?" ------------------------------ Lets start like this, Connor comes from a troubled past that soon turns out to be fading away as he moves to Missouri. After 2 years of living there, a new boy in town offers to be his friend. Connor hasn't had friends for his whole life so he saw this as an opportunity to get a real friend. Soon, Connor tries a lot of different things he hasn't tried and comes out excellent in all of them, but he makes enemies on the way. Their friend group expands and now there is 4 bestfriends in the group, but Connor only has feelings for 1. Will he mess up? But what will happen when his past starts following him everywhere he goes? What will happen when old feelings arise with just a glance at a dinner table? The Days With No Sun
Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do. This is the evolution of my madness. A cluster of rants and thoughts and poems for you guys. As we go through life, we meet people who deeply touch our hearts and change us in meaningful ways. They leave lasting marks on our souls, transforming who we are. The footprints they leave behind guide us towards growth, ensuring we can never retrace our steps to the person we once were. And then, there was him. We found each other at the precise moment when our souls were ready to collide. Love enveloped us, and in his arms, I discovered a deep sense of belonging. Everything felt right, as if the universe had conspired to bring us together. But life has a way of unraveling even the most beautiful stories. In a cruel twist of fate, the ground beneath us began to crumble. The very thing that had given us hope and joy now carried the weight of our lives, feelings, and emotions, threatening to snatch them all away. The perfect illusion shattered, leaving behind broken fragments of what once was. He is the one who taught me how to love. But as I stand here engulfed in his absence, I realize he forgot to teach me the most crucial lesson of all-how to let go. The pain of holding onto his memory is unbearable, yet I would endure it all, for it's a bittersweet reminder of the love we shared. I'd trade my everything for just one more moment with him, for even a fleeting moment holds more joy than a lifetime without knowing him. ❁❁❁ This is Book 3 of my Botanical Novel Series, but it can be enjoyed as a standalone book. The doctor answered, "I'll give you my sight, So you will see the world in someone's eyes." The teacher said, "I'll offer you my wisdom, So you will build knowledge in your kingdom."
