Kortney and her brother Chase have always been close since Chase is 2 years older and very protective. Ever since Kortney was born he has been by her side since their father died when they were young and now just living with their mom. Chase has a best friend named Nick who happens to be Kortney's best friend Monica's brother. Nobody is really fond of her boyfriend Jake; they always have had bad feelings about him.
