When John leaves to go to war he leaves behind a teenaged daughter. He leaves her with Harry, his sister. Harry abuses her and John has no clue what his sister does to his little girl. One day she runs away to get away. Mrs. Hudson brings her in for some tea and she gets rescued by everyone's favorite detective. When John comes back she's angry with him. This is the story of her friendship with the detective that everyone assumes is cold and uncaring.

New York to be exact. However, when she gets back eight years later, everything about her has changed: her personality, attitude, even her intelligence has improved, if that's even possible. Deciding she needs a break from Mycroft, Hazel decides to rent out a flat. 221 C to be exact. But meeting the supposed heartless consulting detective and her fellow soldier and brother was not what she was expecting. what happens when the two Watsons reconnect, and the two cold hearted geniuses start to feel emotions?
