Taylor Jason doesn't like her life. Her mother tried to kill her since she was a 'monster'. Her mother had mated with a different breed of her kind. So Taylor turned out to be a Tigard, a leopard and tiger mix. She now drinks herself into sleep, hating all of her memories and her lonely life.
But then Trevor Yelton comes into her life. He finds her in the bar one day and then takes her home to take care of her gun wound. He wants her, bad. But does she want him? He has to earn her love and help her sort her life out before her life long enemy J.T. (Jerry Torper) decides that while she's in pain, he can take her out once and for all. Can he do it? Unlike the low ranks that are born into them the high ranks inherit the rank and must be part of the bloodline. Taylor never wanted a mate because he thought she would only hold him back. He sleeps around with a lot of girls and has had more girlfriends that than there are stars in the sky. So what happens when he meets his mate Shawn who hasn't even had his first kiss. Okay this is my first story like ever. These are real people but most of the things that happened is made up from my own imagination.I don't own it. Another guy seems to follow her every step. Hate turns into love and love into hate when the guys aren't what she first thought they were. She has to make decisions while her situation isn't clear yet. The questions keep piling up and only a few are answered. Like why hasn't she had her first shift to her animal form yet, although everyone her age has? Why does she care about someone she thinks she hates?
