What originally started out as an activity to play on the weekends with our sons and their friends, grew over the years into a lifestyle never expected. 19 years later, two of my sons have been successfully recruited to play college baseball, and my oldest has just completed his 3rd season of professional baseball.
Baseball people have always told us that "If you can play the Game in high school - you can play the Game in college: It doesn't matter where you play.
After watching my sons play baseball in Park City, Utah, where we average 411-inches of snow annually, I'd agree.
Yet despite our own success, too many deserving high school players continue to fail in their own efforts to realize the same dream, and I believe this rate of failure is only due to a lack of education and perspective of the recruitment process itself - and what the player must do to prepare himself to become recruited for the next level of baseball.
My family has been incredibly-blessed with the opportunities extended, and it's time to give back: I want to help other players realize their dream of playing college baseball too!
