Alison wants nothing more than to come home to her loving family after a hard day of learning at school next to her gentle and caring boyfriend and well mannered, best friend who agrees with everything she says. But instead Ali comes home everyday to an empty house holding the remains of her broken family after a long hard day of arguing with her not so gentle and caring boyfriend Zachary. And to add to it Ali meets the new guy Chace, who just so happens to hate her for no reason. Throw in some body image issues and an MIA mother and you've got yourself an exact replica of Alison Baker's life. ***** "Fuck this I'm out" he says angrily. "Fine then leave" I yell heated "That's what you're good at right". As soon as the words come out of my mouth i wish for nothing more than to be able to swallow them back down into my throat. Or for the ground to swallow me. I know I've made a huge mistake when I see the rage in his eyes burn 10 times brighter. " You don't know shit, okay" he seethes "So just mind your own fucking business princess, beca--" He cuts off mid sentence and I see he's staring at me. I follow his eyes to the giant purple bruise on my shoulder that is completely visible now. "Ali what the fuck is that" he growls. Like literally growls. I thought he was mad before but wow. It's only just now dawning on me that he could do some serious damage if he wants to. He's no doubt stronger than me and can overpower and probably outrun me any day. "Nothing, weren't you leaving" I say shakily. Shit. He looks like he wants to beat the shit out of someone. Why did I invite him here. God I just wanna die. I don't realize I'm crying until he grabs my face and wipes away a tear. His formerly furious look is now replaced with a gentle and concerned look. "Ali, did someone do that to you?" He asks. I don't answer. "Ali please". He pleads with the most pained expression I've ever seen.
