Utsukushī Omoide Shinsengumi

The ultimate police force of the late shogun period in feudal Japan, known as the Shinsengumi, was never very keen on keeping anyone around that wasn't in their forces. But whenever an older members niece is suddenly orphaned and thrown out on the streets to fend for herself, what are they supposed to do? Nothing?
