Jade/Jude Sullivan was one of the best gymnasts in their state, but when they were just 17, their life had to be put on hold when they were diagnosed with Leukemia. Now they struggle with their family in shambles and their own mortality as they know their life is coming to an end. This story follows Jade's (Jude's) journey to acceptance as they battle not only their mind and the criticisms of others about being Gender-fluid, but an outside force far greater than their own. Their last three days on Earth are full of twists and turns that they can't even begin to comprehend, but how life changing could it be? They're only fulfilling their dying wish.

Cursed with an alcoholic father, the weight of a failed family, and the constantly watching world, Jade Leeman finds the "teen dream" tastes of nothing but bitterness and pain. Trapped in celebrity-hood, distrustful of his friends, and in constant fear of his abusive father, life becomes an unbearable weight that makes Jade's very reflection lie to him. "Why-why did we let it go this far?! Why didn't we do something-Why didn't I do something the very first day you told me your father beats you!? Why did I do nothing...?"
