Hundreds of feet below the ground, the government has set up levels and cells to contain the supernaturally gifted. All of them. Winifred is one of the hundreds of thousands that live down there, on a level with her own kind- herself. After a several dozen generations, the supernaturally gifted have thrived and have created a home. Under her though, in the lowest level of the SCAR lays the new beast: Carver, the unspoken king that's just been captured. Supposedly, from the surface. Riots begin to break out in the upper levels. To protect Winnie, the humans have moved her to the lowest level, where Carver resides.
