Neptune // 5SOS

» I never thought I'd be doing this. But here I am. Writing an English paper in a college class.

Five years ago, I wouldn't've seen myself here. I probably would've imagined myself at the Grammys or Oscars or the Billboard Music Awards or having my own tv show. Because that's what everyone wants. The big stuff.

I was told, well, the whole class was told, to write about a period of 5 or more years within your life that had a greater impact on your life forever. But write it in the version of a story. Turn it into art.

Well, I guess I won't be following directions, because the story I'm about to tell you took place during a period of only three years, and this story is one I hold near and dear to my heart, one that changed my life and the lives of three others, forever. It actually drove us to the point where we couldn't even continue our band, which, I guess, is why I'm here now.
