His eyes were the color of the remnants of tobacco on an ashtray, his wary gaze fixated on mine as he held me closely-- so close that it seemed like he'll suffocate from the lack of contact.

Who is he?

I didn't know him but, somehow,-- from his watery eyes and slightly parted lips, to the way his pale blonde hair ruffled gently against the wind and the way he held either of my shoulders-- i longed for him.

"You know what's the most painful thing you did to me?" He said, on the verge of tears earning him a confused look from me.

He continued, "It's when you look at me as if I were a complete stranger to you." with a tear slipping down his cheek.

I wanted to brush it away, tell him I'm sorry. Though I had no idea what I should be sorry about.
