Nineteen year old Grace Matthews is a college student aspiring to become an artist, she moves out seeking to be independent. Her family, however, continue to drag her into family meetings, refusing to let her go. When her not-so-related-uncle moves into the city, her family decides to throw him a surprise house warming party. Grace, despite her excuses, gets into it.
After she sneaks out of the party she meets a mature, handsome man. Maybe the party was not bad after all, or so she thought until they walk back into the house and everyone screams surprise.
