This is a NEW story and a departure for me. It is incomplete as I am still working on it. Here is a brief blurb:
Crime; horror; and a lot of snark; what's not to like?
After a devastating home invasion, Emily is left reeling and griefstricken. Her pregnant daughter-in-law is dead as are her hopes for a grandchild to ease her grief after her son's untimely death. To add the final bitter straw, the family of the man who killed her daughter-in-law is suing Alicia for wrongful death after she managed to kill him during their struggle.
All Emily wants is to get away. Years before when "civilization" got to be too much, Emily went walkabout. Sure, it's an Australian concept for an adolescent Aborigine's spiritual journey and she's neither Australian nor an adolescent, but sometimes, simple concepts transcend continents to become universal. And now, amidst the stress of daily life, Emily feels the need to go on a spiritual journey to rediscover what is important. Or at least to find a reason to live.
Only when she goes camping with a friend, they find a hostile force in the swamp, a force that turns the swamp into a killing ground and her walkabout into a struggle to survive.

Michael's Ghost Girl
This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. This story is dedicated to a unique human being, a person endowed with mighty power in both mind and body. Maider meets Isis, who came to recruit her for AYAX, the Academy of Young Athletic Xport-talents, and they become instant friends. Part 4. Following Paul's commands, Isis brings Maider to a luxury resort in South France and hires a handsome escort-boy to seduce her. The girls feel the need to test their strengths, but the outcome is not clear. Part 5. Maider and her young, handsome escort enjoy the scholar mixed martial arts championship and, in the aftermath, hit the nightlife of the city. Part 6. Eventually Maider is introduced to the renowned Paul and Corinne, the owners of AYAX, the Academy for Young Athletic Xports-talents. Their friend and owner of the hotel is interested in meeting the prodigy child face to face. Driven by the euphoria, Maider goes a bit too far and gets scratched by the Lioness. Part 7. The time to remain under Isis' wing is running out, and Maider must fly alone.
Rimelion: The Exploiter
What is reality? I was John-now Charlie, a woman with a VR game tester's cunning and a professional whiskey enthusiast's attitude. But then AIs have risen, and my job evaporated faster than last night's drink. Just when I hit rock bottom, this punk kid-barely old enough to shave-dropped a bombshell: "Reality's just a simulation." Sure, buddy. I laughed it off. Until I woke up twenty years in the past. Now, thanks to a hacking mishap, I'm a regular girl in reality-with a debt and an attitude-navigating Rimelion, the VR game I once mastered, as Charlie, an elven priestess with more than a few tricks up her sleeve. Seriously though, fighting in high heels? Will I claw my way up the nobility ladder? Dominate the rankings? Outwit the government and their plans to exploit us all? Maybe. But something's off. The game feels too real. My memories don't line up, and everyone has their own version of what's true. Simulation? Reality? The lines are a blur-and I'm stuck in the middle. If I want to stop a dystopian future, I'll need allies, both in-game and out. Oh, and avoid ticking off the AIs hunting me for bending the rules. Xalune - Echoes from the past
In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!

Adult Supervision | gxg | - An Emily Prentiss x Reader story
This is 1/2 part of what I'm working on. It's kind of a haters to lovers type vibe, so there will be more of a slow burn angsty tension rather than straight up smut :) While I was writing the 50th chapter. I found a better way to describe this version of Y/N and Emily Prentiss: A self destructive drug addict with a traumatic past meets a somewhat patient federal agent... So, there will be a lot of substance usage in this story.. And it'll probably be somewhat toxic because I'm definitely not promoting substance abuse. Y/N is a total mess. After surviving an abusive relationship with the son of a mob boss who made her do some horrible things, she's been stuck in a downward spiral of anger, guilt, and self-destruction. Losing her dad a few days after her escape only made herangrier. She's selfish and a coward, always trying to protect herself. The idea to make her so young was to show how society has a habit of rubber stamping truly perverse behavior towards teenage girls, even though they are just that, girls. It happened in the 60's, it happens now. But I understand how reading it can be distressing. Also, sorry for any glaring grammatical errors, repetitious phrases or mistakes.
