"All I saw was blood. The knife went into his stomach like butter and slid out like a snake. It was as if time slowed down. His body fell to the ground with a thud in slow motion and I covered my mouth. The man with the knife dropped the knife and it landed on the ground with a clang.
I looked through the closet door cracks caused by fights to see if the bad man was gone. All I could hear was my shallow breathing in dead silence. I held my breath and held my knees to my chest. There was silence as the back door opened and closed. Was he gone? I slowly opened the closet door and screamed"

Just a sneak peak of the story. I will be doing as many updates as I can as the summer goes on.

He once told me no one knows the real him.I didn't think he meant it, and not in a good way. He is a straight A student, and everyone knows it, not to mention he is on the swim team. All that though isn't the real him, the real him hides deep within himself. ---------- "Can you please tell me what that was?" I nearly shout at him. All I get is silence. He keeps his back to me. "Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.

"CHARLIE!" His screams were getting closer until I saw him completely. I grabbed the knife and pointed it straight at him. "Get away from me!" I say warning him His face was red and he still stalked towards me slowly. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" I yell fearing the fact that didn't look scared at all. "Put the knife down." I started to back up a bit still pointing the knife at him. "I'm not telling you again, put it down NOW!" His calm persona was instantly replaced with a furious one. "Please Tho-" He came charging straight at me but I made a run for it. I ran as fast as I could with him behind me until he tackled me to the floor. The knife flew across the hallway and he was on top of me. "Thomas please let me go. I don't want to be here. Please." I say begging "You're ruining everything. It was so perfect and special just for you and you're ruining it." I can tell he was sad but more pissed off this anything. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME!" He screamed in my face. "I-" "SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH!" He roars slapping me across the face. He roughly picks me up and drags me to the room. He yanked me away from him making me fall hit my knee on the hard wood floor. He walked in the bathroom to get something and I realized it something to put me to sleep. He poured the chemical into the towel as he mumbled to himself and I watched in fear. He pulled me from the ground and tried to make me breathe in. I fought the urge to. I thrashed back and forth trying to get free but nothing worked. Slowly, my vision got blurry and felt darkness overtake me.

"Shit!" I muttered under my breath. He pulled open the door and headed for me with a smile that made my skin crawl. I withdrew my gun from my bag and hid it under the table. "Ah Blake Reid. At last we meet!" He pulled out the chair directly across from me. "Who are you and why have you been following me?" I growled. "I'm the man who is going to kill you," he gave me a masochistic smile. I withdrew my gun from its place under the table. It was pointed between his eyes and I took pleasure in the shock that was on his face. He had only gotten his gun halfway out. The staff was still unaware of me holding a gun to this man's head because they were all around back in the kitchen. "Sorry, but that's just not going to happen," I said sweetly. "In such a public place? How brazen of you," he challenged in a shaky voice. "Yes, all the staff is in the back where they can't see us. Oh and if you didn't notice, there's a silencer on my gun. Say good-bye my dearie," I pulled the trigger and sent the bullet through his head. Blake Reid isn't your normal 17 year old. She's an assassin on her last case... or so she hopes. She is having difficulty with memories of her past and can't seem to get out of her shell, even though that is one of the biggest assets needed for her assignment. She will also face many obsticales; some of which she may not survive. Join her in the choas and death she calls her life. (Cover created by Vico96, an amazing friend of mine. Check him out!)

"Can I-" he stretches out his arms but I don't let him finish his sentence because I jump onto him like a little kid after her daddy comes back from work. His arms brace me hard and I take and feel every moment of that hug we share. I think it lasted longer then I intended it to but I don't regret anything about it. His scent, his arms and the way he's holding me so tightly like he's trying to memorize this for later. "Oh fuck, I love you," he mumbles into my hair and deep into my neck. Tears stream out of me, a lot of different emotions mix up into my system and I just can't help but cry out of happiness of finally getting to hug him and talk to him so close like this. "Don't cry baby, I got you now." He rocks me in his arms like I'm his little baby and takes me to his uncomfortable looking bed. I get why he did that, maybe I am so heavy that he can't keep me up for so long. I pull back and try to get off him but he doesn't allow me to do that. "You're staying right here, Iris." He wraps his arms around me securely and that makes me smile finally. "There's my pretty wife," he says and as if I wasn't already smiling big that got me smiling ever harder. It was a dark cold night-the night where the birds lay dead on the cold ground, listening in to the deceased whispers. This is the night where blood was once spilled. Jeremy hid behind a tree, holding on his thigh-his thigh was bleeding as he got stabbed. Jeremy looked at his wound, cursing under his breath. Jeremy looked around to see if anyone was nearby, there wasn't anyone nearby but he could hear the screaming of his pals. He could do nothing but to weep, he got out of his hiding spot and went deeper into the woods. He was wincing in pain as he dragged his injured leg. It was dark, too dark to the point even the moonlight couldn't provide light. Jeremy tripped over a tree root, he winced in pain, squeezing his injured thigh in pain. He soon heard a twig being snapped close to him. He pulled himself together, getting back on his feet. Dragging his leg once more. This time he raised the pace, panicking as he knew that he was being followed. He soon came across an abandoned truck that was in a small field. He smiled in relief, getting inside of the truck. He heard movement from his right, seeing a silhouette of a being that was coming closer to him. He panicked, climbing to the other seat to close the door. Once the door was closed, he locked the doors-backing away after. The door handle was being pulled aggressively but soon stopped. He took off his jacket and wrapped it around his thigh, he winced in pain as he made it tight. He looked around the truck, trying not to move too much. He eventually found a pen and a piece of paper.
