Mark Fischbach is a teenage loner boy with no friends,  no emotions, and no reason to live. Plus, he keeps seeing things that aren't there and it's getting to be a problem. All it takes is one more vicious attack on his psyche for his sanity to tip over the edge. 

Then he can finally let go.  

Or at least he could have, if it weren't for Jack.
