But once I got my job at the bakery, I realized how sweet he was. Behind his geeky personality, was this sweet and loving guy. We became close fast. Eventually dated. We've been through a lot. But once he had that audition, that was when everything changed.

Elliot is, and has always been, stuck in his home town. Sure, it's a fairly large city. Sure, all his family and friends are there. Sure, he has a job he absolutely adores. But he still isn't happy.
